Independent pet store closes down after sale falls through

An independent pet store in Bath has closed after the owners failed to find a buyer for the business.

Park Pets in Moorland Road posted on its Facebook page: “Well, the rumours are true – we are unfortunately closing down.

“We had sold the business and were hopeful that it would stay as a pet shop but the potential new buyer was unable to agree a new contract with the agent so unfortunately we will be closing the shop down.

“Please come in to say goodbye and support us one last time and treat your pet to something in our half-price sale (exclusions apply.)

“Coopers Cuts will be contacting their clients to rearrange their appointments, please be kind to them as this is totally out of their control.

“Thank you for your support over the past four years, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
