As part of its 70th anniversary last year and to show its commitment to ongoing charitable giving, Dorwest Herbs launched the Dorwest Foundation.
The Dorwest Foundation helps dogs and cats in need of care, health and quality of life improvements through the sales of their all-round herbal health supplement Keeper’s Mix, where 10% of profit from every sale of this product goes direct to the Foundation.
In December Dorwest selected five charities recommended to them by their customers to receive donations, and Rushton Dog Rescue, Barking Mad Dog Rescue, Animal House Rescue, Linbee Dog Rehoming and New Start Cat rescue each received a £500 donation.
These donations help pay for vet bills, vaccinations, fostering costs and helps save dogs from the meat trade and enter the UK.
Rushton Dog Rescue commented “Without donations like Dorwest’s our work would not possible, so we thank them very much!”
Jo Boughton-White, Dorwest MD, said: “This cash made a real difference to these charities and I want to thank to all our customers who contributed and made this possible. We hope to help even more dogs and cats this year and we can only do this with your help.”
