New website for Redpaw Pet Supplies

Redpaw Pet Supplies has launched a new website to support a growing demand for online sales. The Plymouth-based retailer originally had an online presence to promote its bricks and mortar outlet. However, over the years, demand for its natural pet products and nutritional consultancy services has drawn customers from much further afield.

The new site, www.redpawpets.co.uk, has been developed by specialist marketing and PR company, Tillymint Communications, which has put customer experience front and centre of the build.

It has vastly improved shop categorisation across 70 brands and 400 products which can be filtered using newly created product attributes such as flavour, health benefit, pet age and price. This allows the customer to filter through the ever-growing product ranges and apply attribute selections to hone down what they are looking for

There is also an improved look and feel across the site. Tillymint has refreshed the Redpaw corporate identity and developed a design style which has been applied consistently across the site. There is also digital mascot – Gracie, based on Sammie’s real-life canine companion, who triggered the quest to identify natural foods to support the whippet’s health problems.

Redpaw founder Sammie Hunt said: “We are delighted with our new website which is now clear and easy to navigate. Our old site had grown organically but was creaking under the ever-increasing number of products we’d added to it. It looked dated and hadn’t been built with categorisation in mind.

“Our new site provides our customers with clear sections based on animal type and life stage, which can then be filtered to product type, sub-categories such wet or dry foods and then filtered to find a particular brand, benefit or ingredient.

The site also has an extensive advice and info section to add value to the user experience and provide support to pet owners. This includes an ‘A to Z of Supplements, Natural Remedies, Herbs & More’.

Alison Gallagher-Hughes, Managing Director of Tillymint, added: “We are delighted to work with Sammie and play an active role in supporting Redpaw’s growth plans. Over the past year, the company has taken on bigger premises and now the brand’s online visibility is boosted too.

“Redpaw is already well-known in the South West for its expertise as a manufacturer and retailer of natural pet products. This website will extend its reach as a national independent retailer which will support its growth and secure its future.”
