PIF releases Business of Pets Conference agenda

The Pet Industry Federation has announced the programme for its two-day Business of Pets conference.

Sponsored by MHA MacIntyre Hudson, the Business of Pets conference is a brand new event designed to help pet businesses take that vital step to the next level. It will take place from Wednesday 7 – Thursday 8 June at the Cranfield Management Development Centre near Milton Keynes.

The programme will cover important topics for those businesses considering investment to grow their business, but who are looking for advice and guidance to do it successfully. Topics include:

  • Getting your business ready for investment
  • Avoiding compliance pitfalls
  • Discovering the right investment options for your business
  • Safeguarding your brand
  • Hearing from those who have invested and what worked for them and what did not
  • What the UK pet market is looking for in terms of investment
  • Latest market research

Participating companies include Kantar, Serjeants, Innovate UK Edge, Natwest Accelerator, British Business Bank, SFC Capital, Piper, Cliverton, Sprintlaw and Watersheds.

Nigel Baker, CEO of PIF commented: "This exciting agenda covers a whole raft of considerations for pet companies who are thinking about how to get investment for growth into their company. It can be time-consuming and challenging to research all the various options, and costly if it goes wrong, so we have designed this conference to cover all bases for pet service and product companies at every level of the investment journey."

The two days of learning and networking are aimed at business owners, directors and decision makers and the programme allows for networking opportunities, including an evening social BBQ after the first day.

Tickets are strictly limited to ensure that delegates can make the most of their attendance. To purchase tickets, and for more information, visit www.petfederation.co.uk
