Pet store has licence to sell puppies revoked
Local councillors have revoked a license to sell puppies at a pet shop near Reading after an investigation found the store was in breach of certain licensing conditions. The decision has been reported in the Maidenhead Advertiser.
According to the newspaper, Linton Pet Store, which is located in Ladds Garden Centre, Hare Hatch, has been the subject of regular protests by animal rights campaigners.
A petition calling on Wokingham Borough Council to refuse the licence had been signed by thousands of signatures.
