The Pet Industry Federation is inviting UK pet businesses to join a supported industry delegation to the China International Pet Show (CIPS), taking place in Guangzhou from 12-15 November 2026.
The delegation is designed for brands interested in entering or understanding the Chinese pet market, as well as retailers, buyers and distributors looking to source products, identify suppliers and explore emerging trends.
CIPS brings together pet product manufacturers, brand owners, suppliers, retailers, distributors and industry professionals from across China and international markets. It covers pet food, accessories, health and care, technology, aquatics, reptiles, birds, small animals and supporting services.
Rather than simply attending as part of a group, participating companies will be able to shape their visit around their own commercial interests.
Support available through the delegation includes:
- VIP registration and badge co-ordination;
- tailored exhibition routes based on individual business priorities;
- pre-arranged B2B meetings with relevant exhibitors and potential partners;
- opportunities to participate in retail and factory visits;
- dedicated transport for official visits organised by CIPS;
- the ability to raise market-access and regulatory questions in advance.
Each company seeking a tailored programme will complete a delegation information form outlining its areas of interest, sourcing requirements, partnership objectives and market questions. CIPS will use this information to identify relevant exhibitors, potential partners, routes and visit opportunities.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend the CIPS International Pet Industry Convention (CIPIC) on 11 November, with the programme providing wider insight into the Chinese pet market, international trade, regulation, sustainability, product development and innovation.
