The Animal People Recruitment Company donates stand space at PATS to support Birmingham Dogs Home

As part of its continued mission to give back to the industry and the community it serves, The Animal People Recruitment Company will be sharing the spotlight at this year’s PATS trade show by giving the majority of its stand space to longstanding charity partner, Birmingham Dogs Home.

PATS – the Pet & Aquatics Trade Show – will take place in Birmingham, the home city of both organisations. The Animal People Recruitment Company, known for its specialist work in recruitment and consultancy within the pet and animal health industries, has worked closely with Birmingham Dogs Home for several years. A donation is made to the charity every single time a candidate is successfully placed into one of its clients’ businesses – a commitment that’s built into the very heart of its recruitment process.

This year, the organisation is taking its support even further by offering Birmingham Dogs Home a chance to exhibit from its stand at PATS 2025, helping the charity raise vital awareness among leading pet businesses, brands, and industry professionals.

Chris Whatling, Co-Founder and Managing Director of The Animal People Recruitment Company, said: “Our partnership with Birmingham Dogs Home is one of the most meaningful parts of our business. Every single dog they care for, and every story of resilience they represent, reminds us why we work in this industry. Giving them space on our stand at PATS – in the heart of our home city – felt like the most natural and important thing we could do this year. I’d love to see more businesses within the pet space get behind them, especially while exhibiting at PATS. Together, we can help them reach more people and continue the amazing work they do.”

With hundreds of placements made across the pet and animal health industry in the last four years, The Animal People Recruitment Company has built a reputation not just for expertise and results, but for living its values – honesty, kindness, and inclusivity – in every partnership.

The team invites visitors to Stand A51 at PATS to meet representatives from Birmingham Dogs Home, learn more about their mission, and discover how businesses can get involved.
