Pet brand creates dedicated zone in Asda stores

Pet product expert Petface has launched a partnership with supermarket giant Asda to provide selected stores with a dedicated Petzone containing toys, treats and accessories.

The Petzone has been installed in Asda stores in Gateshead, Eastlands, Minworth and West Bridgford.

From stylish collars and leads to balls and cuddly toys, the Petzone has everything owners need to keep their pets looking and feeling great.

Petface is a multi-award-winning pet product brand, with over 50 years of experience developing ranges of innovative design-led products.

Each individual product is thoroughly researched and expertly designed, with a new emphasis placed on the environment and sustainability through the Petface Planet range.

John Pullen, category director at Petface, said: “This partnership is an amazing opportunity that brings Petface into Asda, creating a dedicated zone where Asda customers can find everything they need on a regular shopping trip”.

And Matt Harrison, senior director of partnerships and business development at Asda, added: “We’re partnering with some brilliant brands to bring a wide range of pet products to these stores – including items that would usually only be found in specialist retailers.

“A rise in the number of pandemic pets has led to demand from customers for greater choice in this particular category. We’re pleased that through partnerships with innovative brands we’re able to offer products for pets of all ages and satisfy the needs of our customers in these selected stores.”
