Exhibitor stand space at AQUA 2017 ‘sold out’

With still four months to go before AQUA 2017 – the UK’s premier water gardening and aquatics trade event – all the exhibitor stands have now been sold.

Visitors to the exhibition at Telford International Centre on October 18-19 can expect a busy and exciting show with over 80 companies showcasing their products and services.

The exhibition halls will be packed with UK and international companies, and as well as meeting up with a long list of AQUA regulars, visitors will be greeted by a host of new faces.

AQUA has established itself as a ‘must-visit’ event in the trade calendar with buyers and retailers recognising the exhibition as the perfect place to see all the latest launches under one roof.

Visitor registrations are already higher than they were at the same time two years ago when the show was last held – a clear indication that AQUA 2017 is set to deliver an event to remember.

Heritage Distribution Ltd is one company that acknowledges the benefits of exhibiting at such a prestigious show, and as a result has doubled its stand size. “We launched the company at AQUA 2013, and it was the ideal place to start the business,” said Andrew Werendel. “In 2015 we secured 50% more business at the show with more new customers on board.”

For Tropical Marine Centre, the exhibition is an essential part of the company’s sales strategy. “AQUA is a great way to showcase new products to our target audience and get direct feedback from customers,” said Jayne Robb. “The show is very well organised too, by a helpful and lovely team and that is a real bonus.”

Buyers and retailers are being invited to join exhibitors at the AQUA dinner, which includes a three-course meal and drinks. Located in the International Centre the dinner is free for everyone to attend and is a great way to relax after a busy day at the show. Visitors can book their place at the dinner held on October 18 at www.aquatelford.co.uk

One of the most popular features at AQUA is the New Product Showcase, where a record number of entries are expected this year. All the items will be entered into the New Product Awards, which will be judged by a team of independent retailers on the opening morning of the show.

In recognition of the growing importance of the New Product Showcase, the Awards will be presented to the winners at the AQUA dinner for the first time, in front of an audience of over 600 people.

The categories that now make up the Showcase and Awards are:

  • POS/Merchandising/Support
  • Reptile
  • Pond Construction/Decoration
  • Pond Pumps
  • Pond Filters
  • Pond Food, Care and Accessories
  • Aquaria, Furniture and Decor
  • Freshwater Equipment
  • Aquarium Food, Care and Accessories
  • Marine Equipment

Other visitor benefits include: free entry, free catalogue, a complimentary deli bag lunch, a wide range of catering facilities and free parking at Telford International Centre.
