A new veterinary practice has opened its doors in Fife after securing a loan from Royal Bank of Scotland.
Owned by husband-and-wife duo, Hannah (29) and Bruce McKerrow (31), 3 Bridges Vets provides services and treatments for a wide range of pets and farm animals, from hamsters to horses.
Hannah and Bruce decided to start the practice after building up their experience working in a range of different veterinary and farming roles. The couple have combined their clinical experience and family history of working in sheep farming to launch the new Dunfermline-based business.
The funding from Royal Bank of Scotland has been used to facilitate necessary building works, including internal fit-out electrical and joinery work.
The Fordell Firs vets boasts a spacious reception area - complete with separate waiting areas for cats and dogs - along with a customer built large animal facility and on-site laboratory.
The practice currently employs 5 members of staff, including skilled veterinary surgeons who provide round the clock care as part of its out of hours service.
