New website will connect pet owners to PIF members
The Pet Industry Federation has launched its new public-facing website, which will list PIF members exclusively to the pet-owning public and will launch later in March.

‘Mypetpeople.co.uk’ will signpost pet owners to PIF member dog groomers, dog walkers, pet sitters, boarding business and retailers, and through an intuitive search facility will enable pet owners to locate their nearest PIF member business quickly and easily.

The site is separate to PIF's own website and has its own distinct look and feel.

PIF members will be listed free on ‘mypetpeople’ as part of their membership, and the campaign to raise awareness of the site amongst pet owners began at Crufts today with the distribution of promotional business cards to dog-loving visitors there. This will link with a PR campaign within the pet press to direct owners to trusted PIF pet businesses.

Nigel Baker, PIF CEO said: "One of PIF’s core aims is to raise standards within the pet industry, and we know that PIF member businesses are committed to doing just this. PIF membership is a hallmark of quality within the industry.

"We feel it’s right to showcase our members to the pet-owning public and direct them to use their services with confidence, safe in the knowledge that their pets are in the best hands."

For further information about PIF membership and how it helps your pet business, speak to the PIF team at Crufts in Hall 5, stand 9; telephone 01234 273933 or email info@petfederation.co.uk
