Retail group's new flagship store opens tomorrow

Fast-growing and award-winning pet retailer Jollyes Pets is opening its 123rd store at Unit 7B, Houndstone Retail Park, Yeovil, BA22 8YQ tomorrow (Friday 19 June).
Highlights include:
- Mayor Tony Lock will officially cut the red ribbon
- The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA), Jollyes’ national charity partner, will be at the opening, and a retired police service dog will bite through a string of sausages to mark the occasion
- Because it’s Houndstone retail park, customers will be welcomed by Elvis impersonator singing hit songs including Hound Dog, All Shook Up and the Wonder of You
- Yeovil FC’s legendary mascot the Jolly Green Giant will be welcoming customers between 9.30am and 10.30am
- Win a prize on Jollyes’ iconic Wheel of Fur-tune and pick up a goody bag
- To celebrate the World Cup, customers can also take part in football game to win prizes
- On Saturday 20 June, customers will also be entertained with music and games, with prizes to be won throughout the day.
The Team
The store has created seven roles and will be run by store manager Jason Freeman. Jason has a cockapoo called Molly and previously had several cats and dachshunds as pets.
In-store features
An expanded range of food and accessories for cats and a chilled and frozen raw food section which is currently exploding in popularity amongst pet owners.
Jollyes’ exclusive ‘Zoomies”’delivery service via Uber Eats – delivering pet food and toys in as little as 30 minutes to customers within a five miles radius of the store.
