The Cat Show Live announces expansion into Excel London

Following two (soon to be three) successful years at the NEC Birmingham, The Cat Show Live announces its first London event and is inviting brands and strategic partners to be part of this exciting new chapter.

The Cat Show Live has today officially opened trade, strategic partnership and commercial applications for its inaugural London event, taking place at Excel London on Saturday 22nd May 2027.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for the business, which has grown from a start-up event into one of the UK's leading education-led cat platforms, combining live events with year-round digital engagement, educational content, and commercial partnerships.

Applications are now open for 100 trade exhibition spaces, including 25 dedicated Market Place opportunities created specifically for independent retailers, innovators, artisans, start-ups and sole traders.

The event is expected to welcome:

  • 7,000–8,000 visitors
  • 200 cats
  • 18 rescue organisations
  • 100 brands
  • Two live education theatres
  • International speakers and leading veterinary professionals

Public ticket sales for the London event will begin on 13th September 2026, immediately following the next NEC Birmingham event, where only a limited number of trade & partnership opportunities now remain available. This allows the business to focus on delivering its biggest NEC event to date while supporting organisations planning their 2027 marketing activity.

Unlike traditional exhibitions, The Cat Show Live has developed into a 365-day platform, enabling partners to engage with audiences throughout the year through digital campaigns, educational content, community initiatives, brand storytelling, live experiences, and strategic partnerships.

The Cat Show Live reaches more than two million combined online views each month, creating opportunities for organisations to build meaningful relationships with one of the UK's most engaged cat communities.

The continued growth of the platform has attracted support from respected organisations and internationally recognised brands including:

  • Ever Clean (Clorox)
  • Applaws (MPM Pet Products)
  • Kittilitt
  • TriviumVet
  • EveryCat Foundation (USA)
  • Scruffs
  • Trixie
  • Schesir

Samantha Marsh, Co-Founder of The Cat Show Live, says: “London has always been part of our long-term vision, but we knew it had to be built on solid foundations. We are inviting businesses to become part of something much bigger than a single event. The Cat Show Live has evolved into a year-round platform where brands can educate, engage and build lasting relationships with our community through what we call 'Partnerships with Purpose'.”

Peter Banbury, Co-Founder, added: "Businesses today want more than exhibition space. They want measurable engagement, authentic partnerships and opportunities that deliver value throughout the year. That is the model we have been building over the past three years, and we're excited to welcome both existing and new organisations as we continue our expansion into London.”

Trade applications for The Cat Show Live London are now open, with businesses encouraged to register their interest early to secure the best opportunities.
