Manchester-based entrepreneur Felix Robinson and son Tom, who recently set up a business to make the buying of dogs online safer, have been recognised for their unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology by being awarded a Highly Commended at the recent PetQuip Awards.
Among a pool of exceptional nominees, Pet Trust UK stood out for their innovative platform developed to make buying dogs online safer, promoting responsible breeding practices and ensuring pet welfare.
Felix said:“We are proud to be recognised for our dedication to creating a transparent and secure marketplace for pet owners.
“This achievement would not have been possible without my co-founder Thomas Robinson and our dedicated team's incredible support and the trust our valued users placed in us. We are grateful for their ongoing support and belief in our mission.
“It was an honour to be presented by Susan Fairley, PetQuip Trade Federation Manager, and Amanda Sizer Barrett MBE, Director General of the PetQuip association with our award.
"Even though we were finalists in two categories, we entered with no expectations but the pet industry judges saw the potential just like we did, and we emerged victorious, winning the Highly Commended Business Service of the Year Award.
“As newcomers to the industry, we were deeply flattered by this recognition. It's truly heart-warming to see our hardworking team acknowledged, and to know that we have the support of the Pet Industry at large is simply incredible. “
“A special shout out goes to my son Thomas R. for his role in developing the site, my daughter Charlotte for her unwavering support, and the entire team for their dedication and passion.”
