Pets Choice gets a host of furry visitors

Staff at leading pet food manufacturer, Pets Choice Ltd, gathered the treats, filled up the water bowls and dug out the toy box for some very furry visitors last week, as they took part in Bring Your Dog to Work Day.

Bring Your Dog To Work Day is an annual nationwide event that raises money for charities dedicated to making a difference to the welfare of dogs.

A first for the business, staff members brought along their four-legged friends to the Blackburn based offices, for a day of petting, playing and walks.

Julie Butcher, head of marketing, said: “Bring Your Dog to Work Day has been something we wanted to take part in for a while and the growth of the business in recent years meant that we could really make a day of it.”

“Everyone at Pets Choice is a pet lover and we now have several staff members with dogs, who could bring them along. We had a fantastic day with 15 furry visitors in the office and we raised £170  for the charity, All Dogs Matter.”

While the day may have been lots of fun, work continued as usual with the dogs even lending a helping paw.

Zoe Hardaker, product manager, commented: “We had mini-trials set up in our office with our pets getting to try out the latest toys and treats. They even caught the first glimpse of our 2018 Festive range, which of course when down a storm!”
