Chester pet shop plans charity fundraising event

A pet shop, which opened Saltney, Chester, in December, is holding a fun day and dog show to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The Royal Lodge Pet Shop, run by Chantelle Elson and her mum Alison Swift run Royal Lodge Pet Shop is organising the Beroyal's Fun Day and Dog Show.

It will be held at Westminster Park, Hough Green, Chester CH4 8JW on Sunday 24th June, starting at 10:30am and finishing at 3:30pm.

“There has never been anything like this event around the area,” said Chantelle. “We are doing it for Cancer Research UK as it is very close to our hearts due to family members passing away from Cancer.

“We opened the pet shop on December 11th last year. We’ve had a dog boarding, day care and walking business since 2014 and wanted to expand the business so decided to open an independent pet shop as there is none local to us.”
