Canine Flow, a unique dog training business that offers retreats where owners get to understand their pets’ motivations, emotional energy and behaviour, has been nominated for Business of the Year at this year’s PetQuip Awards.
Canine Flow’s founder Caroline Griffith, also known as The Spiritual Dog Trainer, said: “Where traditional techniques might fail, Canine Flow opens you up to your dog and their energy, supporting them through their behavioural concerns or anxieties to peace and connection.
“Canine Flow is a unique way of being with your dog that aligns your own energy flow, promotes happiness and builds success and purpose in you and your dog—transforming canine behaviour like no other technique before.”
Caroline Griffith has a lifelong love of dogs and for over 20 years she has worked with natural pet care and holistic training techniques. She is mum to Foosa, a beautiful three-legged rescue dog.
Caroline offers a range of products which include private consultations and retreats which take place in the heart of West Wales. These retreats help owners and their dogs to relax, unwind and have the space and freedom to disconnect from the stresses of the world and connect with each other.
Canine Flow also offers a number of home study courses which help owners to understand the principles of the training and Training Practitioner Courses enabling people to train in the techniques and then go on to establish their own businesses. For those showing the highest level of dedication they can go on to become a Master Practitioner.
“Largely due to the increase of dog ownership during the pandemic, issues relating to separation anxiety and any other social situations which inexperienced dog owners have to deal with has increased making it more important to make sure that your dog is relaxed and happy,” says Caroline.
Research conducted by the Health Foundation showed that instances of anxiety and depression were at their highest level during the Covid pandemic since research began in 2011. With uncertainty around the economy, mental health issues are set to rise. Owning a dog has many benefits for mental health and Canine Flow enables dog owners to connect with their dogs in a way that is unique and fulfilling.
Canine Flow is now a worldwide business with nearly 30 practitioners operating across the globe. Dog owners come from across the world to join the retreats and after seeing the transformation in their dogs they then join the Practitioner programme.
“We are absolutely delighted to be recognised by PetQuip for the unique work that we do in the dog training world,” concludes Caroline.
