Entries invited for prestigious PetQuip Awards 2020

The PetQuip Awards, one of the most successful events to have been introduced into the pet trade sector in recent years, is set to take centre stage again in 2020.

This year’s event will see awards presented to deserving winners from the pet industry on the first evening of PATS Telford at a new-look gala event on Sunday, 27th September 2020.

Entry into the awards is free of charge and is now open.

The categories for the 2020 PetQuip Awards are:

  • Marketing Project of the Year
  • Exporter of the Year
  • Product of the Year (three categories):
    Accessories/Technical
    Food/Treats
    Healthcare/Animal Grooming
  • Supplier of the Year
  • International Pet Retailer/Distributor of the Year
  • UK Pet Retailer of the Year
  • Lifetime Achievement

Entries will be put through an initial screening test and the finalists will be announced before the independent judging panel sits down to choose the winners at the end of August.

PetQuip is happy to receive nominations for retailers and suppliers who, in the opinion of the nominee, deserve to be winners.

Commenting on the launch of this year’s awards and the continued success of the event, PetQuip trade association manager Pat Flynn said: “Such has been the success of the PetQuip Awards that suppliers, retailers and our friends in the industry eagerly await the launch each year so they can submit their entries.

“We plan to make this year’s event even more successful and there will be a new look to the award presentation evening, which will take place after the first day of PATS Telford. I can promise it will be a fun evening for everyone and a fitting occasion to reward and celebrate the pet industry’s outstanding achievements.”
