Pet firm to appear in new series of Dragons’ Den

The owners of innovative pet product company Groomi, which supplies a unique grooming tool for dogs, cats and horses, are set to appear in the new series of Dragons’ Den when the hit TV programme returns to BBC2 next month.

Husband-and-wife team Chris and Charlotte Wright will be seen entering the Dragons’ Den on Sunday, March 8, as they make a pitch for investment.

“Although we produce a fairly unique product, we never dreamed that our application to appear on the show would be accepted,” said Charlotte.

“But when we were told that we would appear we were both excited. The whole process took a lot of planning and it was nerve-wracking.”

Charlotte said she made the pitch for investment in the Dragons’ Den while Chris handled the numbers side of their presentation.

But she remained tight-lipped of how Groomi was received by the Dragons. To find out tune in to BBC2 on Sunday, March 8.
