Award-winning animal attraction celebrates

Kew Little Pigs staff, friends and supporters enjoyed a fun summer party to celebrate recent achievements and developments.

Owner Olivia Mikhail hosted the packed event on Sunday, to celebrate recent award success, a brand new shop and cafe, and improved facilities at the popular attraction.

Adult revelers were treated to a DJ, drinks and a Lebanese food truck, while the younger guests enjoyed a bounce along to the music on a giant inflatable.

The Amersham farm's resident pigs, goats and birds also enjoyed the fuss, as visitors took tours of the farm and enjoyed piggy play times on arrival.

Olivia said: "What a wonderful party, and it was so important to me to have this celebration to say a big thank you to all our friends, family and supporters.

"It was amazing to have everyone all together, enjoying the sunshine and sharing all that we have achieved. A brilliant day."

The farm attraction, which is also an ethical micro pig breeder, has recently undergone some works on site, which includes a plush new shop and cafe area.

And the party was also a chance to celebrate coming out of the challenging pandemic as a multi award-winning attraction.

In 2021 Olivia won the prestigious Best Business Woman in Animal Services Award, and earlier this year scooped Business Woman of the Year' and gold finalist in Unique Business and Most Inspiring Business Woman categories at the Ladies First Business and Inspirational Women Awards, as well as finalist in the Inspirational Business Woman category.

The park also won a Lockdown Legend award from Nfan and Best Family Attraction in Buckinghamshire from SME News.

Olivia added: "The pandemic was a very difficult time, but celebrations like this really are the icing on the cake, showing that all our hard work and resilience was worth it in the end."

Olivia founded Kew Little Pigs when her  young daughter became obsessed with the films Babe and Charlotte's Web.

And from Olivia's garden in 2010 to its current 3.6 acre premises the business is going from strength to strength.

Kew Little Pigs is a farm park, where visitors can take part in fun pig-keeping experiences and mingle with the site's many gorgeous micropigs.

The business also ethically breeds the little pigs, who then become beloved pets in the homes of responsible families, following a full vetting process.

Every potential new family has to take part in a pig-keeping course, and then receives support and guidance from Kew Little Pigs for the life of their pet.
