A ‘successful and lucrative’ pet store has been put up for sale with a guide price of £235,000 as the owners wish to pursue new business interests.
The sale of Posh Pets in Holt, Norfolk, is being handled by agents Hilton Smythe, who describe the business as a traditional pet shop offering pet supplies and essentials.
Posh Pets had a dog grooming parlour up until recently which could be reinstated if required.
The business sells a wide range of items for household pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and wild birds.
Hilton Smythe state that due to pet shop closures in the surrounding area, Posh Pets has more custom than before and still retains its Holt customer base.
The agents also say: “Posh Pets is a profitable business, however, there is scope for development by considering the following: improving the website to become an E-commerce site; and adding to current lines being sold.”
Posh Pets generated an advised turnover of circa £174,000 as of the 2017 accounts. The assets in the business are worth in the region of £10,000.
Hilton Smythe highly advise early viewing to avoid disappointment. The full details can be found by clicking here.
