Pettex Aquatics to cease trading at end of September

Pettex Aquatics Ltd has announced it will cease trading on 30 September 2026 after being in business for 67 years.

In a statement, the Essex-based company thanked all of its customers, suppliers and partners for their custom and support over the years. The team remained available to assist with any queries relating to the closure, outstanding orders, or account matters.

“After 67 years, this isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly,” said director Steve Bolton. “With our directors now reaching retirement age, we felt it was the right time to bring this chapter to a close in a way that honours everything the business has stood for.

“We’re incredibly proud of what this business has built, and that pride comes entirely from the relationships we’ve formed with our customers, suppliers and staff over the decades.”

The company will continue to trade and fulfil orders as normal in the lead-up to September 30.
