Team of experts aim to shape future of pet nutrition

The Nutriment Company – a European leader in premium, fresh, natural pet nutrition – has put together a team of leading veterinary and research experts dedicated to advancing the science behind natural pet nutrition.

The initiative, called the Science Board, strengthens TNC’s mission to improve pet health through natural, minimally processed food that supports their biological needs.

The Science Board brings together TNC’s internal specialists in animal nutrition with internationally renowned external experts. Together, they will provide strategic scientific guidance, advise on product development, and strengthen the company’s research collaborations in the field of pet health and nutrition.

Comprised of people representing veterinary science, research, and business, the Science Board features two specialists – Dr Christine Nees and Dr Anna Hielm-Björkman – with extensive scientific and veterinary expertise who will play an essential role in shaping future innovations.

With its Science Board, TNC aims to deepen scientific understanding in the field of natural nutrition, develop advanced formulations backed by research, and work closely with veterinarians to promote responsible, evidence-based feeding recommendations. TNC will continue to collaborate with academic institutions, including the DogRisk Research Group, to support ongoing studies and bring forward meaningful new insights for the pet-owning community.

“We are honoured to welcome such highly respected experts to our Science Board,” said Anders Kristiansen, CEO of The Nutriment Company. “Their experience and dedication to advancing natural nutrition will shape the future of our industry.”
