Pet accessories on international buyers' wish-list

The latest in the highly successful ‘Meet the International Buyers’ events organised by the PetQuip and Gardenex associations will take place at the Federation’s head offices in Brasted, Kent on 1 March 2018.

The pet product buyers that have been invited to one-to-one business discussions with British suppliers are a Slovenian pet retailer with online sales and a Latvian importer/wholesaler looking for pet and garden products.

Representing the gardening industry will be buyers from importers/wholesalers from Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands.

The Slovenian company owns retail pet shops and operates a well-established B2C online store.  The company also acts as an importer/distributor and supplies specialist independent pet shops across Slovenia.  The buyer will be looking for innovative products from the UK and is interested in meeting suppliers of semi-moist or moist food. It is also looking to expand into the reptile and ferret markets.

The other pet product buyer is a Latvian importer/wholesaler that is already well established in the garden sector but is now seeking to expand into the pet accessory market.  The company will be looking for accessories for dogs and cats, as well as training accessories.

To ensure that you don’t miss out on the opportunity to apply for 25 minute one-to-one meetings with any of the buyers on 1 March, or to find out more about future ‘Meet the International Buyers’ events for both the pet and garden sectors, please contact katie-mai@petquip.com as soon as possible.
