Pet store picks up customer service accolade

A pet store based in Totton near Southampton has been recognised for its ‘friendly and knowledgeable customer service’ in a national retail award competition.

Healthy Pet Store, which delivers to customers in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight as well as opening for shoppers six days per week, picked up the Bricks ‘N’ Clicks accolade at the Good Retail Awards.

The store’s managing director Deborah Burrows said: “I was absolutely delighted that Healthy Pet Store won a national award which recognises our hard work and dedication to excellent customer service. Our customers and the wellbeing of their pets are at the heart of everything we do.

“We are excited to see where we will take Healthy Pet Store within the next year. Thank you to our teams and suppliers for their hard work in making Healthy Pet Store such a success.”

Deborah received the award during the recent Spring Fair at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Good Retail Awards are staged by Modern Retail, whose content editor Holly Worthington said: “Healthy Pet Store is the perfect example of a retailer that has set ambitious goals and made a plan to achieve exactly what they set out to do. Their work to share their knowledge while informing and engaging customers and suppliers means they can provide an incredible experience both online and instore.”
