PIF launches new weekly news digest for members

The Pet Industry Federation has launched a new Business News Digest, which will be emailed each week exclusively to members and which contains updates on government legislation and other news items relevant to the pet industry.

Alexandra Baker, PIF’s chief operating officer, said: "Since the launch last year of our bi-monthly magazine for members, PIF Matters, we felt that the addition of a weekly newsletter with updates from the governments across the nations and industry information from around the world, would complement the news offering really well for our members. The round-up of news items enables readers to easily absorb information and contains links to further information if they want to know more.

"The Business News Digest is a great way for PIF members to stay up to date with issues that may affect their pet business in a world with an increasingly fast paced news agenda."

PIF membership is open to any pet business and members receive a range of business-related benefits upon joining, including insurance, HR, tax and health and safety advice; multiple business templates, policies and information in a members’ area.

The Federation also offers opportunities to shape the industry through working groups on hot topics including animal activities licensing.
