A revolutionary new way of freshening up dogs without water called Quick Wash has become an instant hit, winning  the Best New Grooming Product at PATS Sandown for Wilshire-based company Aqueos.

Tracy Richards, founder and brain-child behind Aqueos said: “Quick Wash is the latest product to be added to our range of Anti-Bacterial Dog Shampoos. It is ideal to clean or freshen up in-between baths or any other situations such as muddy walks where water is unavailable.

With no water required Quick Wash is a foam which is applied to the dog’s coat or face and then towel dried.  It can be used for all over cleaning or just for dirty areas.  As well as a cleaning foam it also includes the Aqueos water based deodorising technology. The range of Aqueos shampoos for dogs are both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and are an effective deodoriser.  They help to combat itchiness, soothe minor skin irritations and are gentle on the skin, leaving the coat soft . They can be used on minor skin wounds and are alcohol and phenol free.  Quick Wash is available in 250 ml size pump sprays for easy use.

The winners of the PATS Sandown 2020 New Product Awards, sponsored by pbwnews, were chosen by a team of expert pet retailers. Their decisions took into account a number of guideline criteria such as product innovation, design, quality, packaging, value for money and sustainability.

The judges agreed that the New Product Showcase had produced a high calibre of entries with a tremendous amount of innovation. They were pleased to see such a wide range of products, and felt the majority of items on display showed some great innovation.

The Awards were presented to the winners by Justine Thompson, editor of pbwnews, and show organiser Gordon Thomas.

Commenting on Quick Wash, the judges said: “This had a nice fresh smell and useful properties for the pet owner concerned about health and hygiene. This one would fly off the shelves.”=
