“Wow, wow, wow!” was CSJ’s Ceri Rundle’s reaction as she watched from her sick-bed the live-streaming of a gripping 2022 International Sheepdog Championships held at Castle Howard. “What a great final to watch.”
Along with so many top handlers in the sport feeding CSJ, it was Dewi Jenkins (Wales) with his dog Jock who claimed the International Supreme Champions title and Aled Owen (Wales) with Llangwm Bud becoming Reserve International Supreme Champions.
Jack Howells, with Cydros Boss (Wales) was the well-deserved International Young Handler Champion and Wales (captained by Aled Owen) were International Team Champions with 3909 points, putting Ireland second, England third and Scotland fourth.
Ceri commented: “A great showcase for our sport. Thoroughly enjoyed watching all the action. Thank you Rhys for the live-streaming and to Carol Mellin for keeping us all right up-to-date with the happenings.”
P.S. Ceri’s up and about and feeling better now …
