Building a new kind of dog walking business

A Cambridge couple have embarked on an exciting journey to build a new kind of dog walking business with their company Paws Let Loose.

Jack Bond and Laura Pioli founded the business in the city last October and have already built up a loyal base of dog owning clients.

Jack, who has been a professional dog walker for over two years, wanted  to put his own stamp on the way the business was conducted.

Meanwhile, Laura, using her marketing background, focused on building a community especially on Instagram. Her social media initiatives included ‘A Valentine's Day Swap’ which brought together more than 20 small businesses. She also plans to host a charity walk for the Dog Trust in May.

Paws Let Loose recently got nominated for a consumer service startup-of-the-year  award and was on BBC radio to talk about the innovative business.

Jack said: “I grew up with dogs and pets, which I have always loved dearly, so I wanted to build a whole business around it and spend as much time as I can with the man's best friend because who doesn't love dogs.”
