Prestigious PetQuip Awards to be judged today
 

Judging of the prestigious 2019 PetQuip Awards takes place today (Thursday) and the winners will be announced at the annual awards dinner at PATS Telford in September.


With fierce competition across all the award categories there will be plenty of drama and excitement in store during the gala evening on Sunday September 22nd.


PetQuip trade association manager Pat Flynn said: “Competition for the awards in all eight categories promises to be fierce, which will make for a very exciting evening while providing a true reflection of the UK’s vibrant pet industry.

 

“Ticket sales for the awards’ dinner started much earlier than usual, as more and more applicants are requesting to be seated with friends or customers from the industry at this entertaining, networking event. As part of the evening’s attraction, the casino tables will be there by popular demand again and the appearance of a table magician will be one of the extra fun elements to be introduced this year.”

 

Judging is being carried out by independent pet retail and marketing experts ltoday (August 8). Theywill be  undertaking careful consideration of the finalists in the following categories:

In addition to these categories, awards for International Pet Retailer/Distributor of the Year and Lifetime Achievement will be presented at the PetQuip Awards dinner.

 

The PetQuip Awards event is held in association with PATS Telford in the Ludlow Suite, International Centre, Telford, at 7.30pm on Sunday September 22nd. It’s a great way to round off the first day of the show for exhibitors and visitors, as well as a fun evening of networking with colleagues and customers in pet trade.

Included in event is a pre-dinner drinks reception, a three-course meal with wine and networking, a table magician and the ever-popular casino tables, following presentation of the awards.

The PATS Telford New Products Awards will also be presented at the PetQuip Awards Dinner.

Tickets cost £75 plus VAT to PetQuip member companies (or £85 plus VAT to those who haven’t yet joined the association).  Tables can be reserved (cost on application).
