Arden Grange celebrates 'Sensitive September'

Throughout September Arden Grange will be celebrating the success of its range of products developed especially for cats and dog with dietary allergies or intolerances.

The company says: "Our Sensitive range is extremely popular and regularly receives praise for helping dogs with digestive and skin sensitivities get back to optimum health and vitality just like Boycie, the three-year-old boxer. As a puppy Boycie was diagnosed with aortic stenosis and later in life was diagnosed with severe gastroenteritis. Due to the damage caused internally, the vets recommended that he would need to transition onto a sensitive food.

"During his recovery Boycie developed a sensitivity to chicken (as well as many other things) which made finding a diet difficult as almost all sensitive foods his owners found contained poultry protein.

"Boycie’s owner trialled him on our Sensitive Adult Ocean White Fish & Potato dog food and has never looked back! Since being on our sensitive range and with careful management of his diet Boycie has maintained excellent gastro health and his owner always get comments about how healthy he looks and how shiny his coat is.

"We would love to hear more stories like Boycie’s, so please send us your pet’s success stories by email or via message on Facebook or Instagram so we can share them with our followers! Alternatively, you can post them on your social media profiles and tag us using the #AGsensitivetails.

"We will also be sharing helpful articles and advice on our social platforms and blog throughout the month with the celebrations culminating in a fantastic competition to win lots of sensitive themed prizes for your cats and dogs!

"You can ensure you don’t miss out on any of our sensitive stories and competition this September by signing up to our newsletter or follow the hashtags #ardengrangeuk #AGsensitivetails on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

"Our sensitive range includes; Sensitive dry dog food in three life stage varieties, Sensitive Partners wet dog food, Crunchy Bites Sensitive dog treats and Sensitive adult dry cat food. Please note that there is a small proportion of chicken oil in our Sensitive food, but this ingredient is rarely associated with adverse food reactions in dogs as it is a pure,  filtered source that’s had any large antigenic (potentially reactive) protein molecules removed (when dogs suffer from food allergies, it’s the protein rather than fat within an ingredient that the immune system reacts to)."
