Pet retailer donates £20,000 to Ukraine Crisis Appeal

Pets Corner has donated £20,000 to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal this month and the retail group said it would continue to support the relief aid effort.

The company stated: “We’re devastated by the situation in Ukraine, and we believe it’s important to let the Ukrainian people know that we give our heartfelt support to them during this very difficult time.

This month we donated £20,000 to the Ukraine Crisis Appeal, and if you’re able to donate, please do so by post or phone (0300 023 0820).

“We will continue to aid Ukraine and have set up a support page to notify our customers of any new event.”

Last weekend, the car park at the company’s Scampers store in Soham was turned into a pick-up stop for donations and essential supplies. The team collected over £1,000 worth of pet food, coats, beds and more to send to the pets of Ukraine.

Residents from the area also came down to donate clothes, tents, sleeping bags and medicine to support the people of Ukraine.
