Pet food pioneer recognised in global innovation awards

HOWNDthe multi-award-winning pioneer of cruelty-free, plant-based pet care products since 2015, has been selected by a distinguished jury of experts from global corporations, industry leaders, ecosystem builders and venture capitals to compete for Food Tech Challenger Brand 2023 at the Food Tech Congress between May 31-June 1 2023.

Food Tech Challengers provides disruptive brands leading the way in alternative proteins and food tech innovation with a unique opportunity to showcase their solutions to a distinctive panel of 30+ investors and industry experts.

HOWND was chosen in its category from over 400 business entries from across the globe – and wowed the panel of judges that included leaders from Kelloggs, Big Idea Ventures and Danone with its complete plant powered superfood for dogs made entirely from meat alternative ingredients.

“It already feels like a big reward to be amongst such purpose driven brands of the food future,” said Mark Hirschel, co-founder and commercial director at HOWND. “We’re looking forward to the event next year.”
