Cambridgeshire Flyball Team has set a new British record of 14.21s!
Team Captain Ellen Schofield said: “Lined up against the fantastic dogs from Essex Flyball Teams, our team … Texan, Vegas, Prime and Kylo managed a phenomenal heat resulting in a 14.21 on the clock.
“After the necessary checks were conducted, the new British record was confirmed!”
They are also now the 3rd fastest in the World and CSJ are proud to work alongside such a dedicated group of people who clearly strive to do the best they can by all of their dogs …
2024 had ended with them hitting 14.29s – the 6th fastest team in the world ever and Ellen had said, “For the last 12 months Cambridgeshire Flyball have been slowly working on cultivating a team of dogs and handlers that can not only ‘race’ but be able to push for times too. Over that time we have proven time and time again that they can race, 4th at FOWC, 4th at EFC, UKFL gold cup finalists and Reserve Crufts champions 2025.”
Now, as the new British Record holders Ellen (who started the team in 2007) says: “We are all so proud of the team we have built and look forward to seeing what they can accomplish this season.... with the incredible calibre of UK Flyball we are not going to be resting on our laurels at all!
Thank you to our team, the flyball community, all our supporters and sponsors, this couldn’t be possible without all of you.”
