Marketing agency adds international brand to client line-up

Independent, integrated marketing communications agency, Leopard Co, has won a contract to launch the Compawnion dog training app in the UK and beyond.

Initially launching in the UK, but with an ambition to expand globally, Leopard Co will offer strategic consultancy and communications planning throughout the project to get Compawnion off the ground.

Leopard Co will be utilising its pet marketing expertise to increase the number of subscribers signed up to Compawnion by focusing on communicating the three-day trial to its target audience.

Focusing on digital marketing, SEO, social media and influencer relations, the marketing agency will work with Mark Hirschel, Hownd Co-Founder & Commercial Director and Compawnion Business Consultant, and Paul Gowans, Compawnion Marketing and Branding consultant with 30+ years’ experience leading global marketing teams for MNCs.

The account will be led by Rachel Roberts, co-founder and chief executive of Leopard Co, who commented: “We’re excited to welcome Compawnion to the pack. Here at Leopard Co, we have a great track record in the pet tech space having helped launch PitPat in 2016, plus our experience working with a host of other pet brands.

“As pet lovers we know that to create a happy home for dog and owner, getting access to training advice and support is vital. Compawnion is the perfect solution to help dog owners who struggle to access the advice they need due to affordability or reluctance to attend in person training groups.”

Anvith Varanasi, the brain behind Compawnion, combined his insights as a passionate pet owner with his MSc in Innovation Management from Imperial College London to launch the online dog training tool.

Created to help time-poor working professionals fit dog training into their own schedules with the flexibility of focusing on specific needs of their dog, Compawnion is proudly cost-effective providing much better value than traditional dog training methods.

Mark Hirschel commented: “Leopard Co is a special agency in the way it combines the depth of skills required to help launch this new pet app. We felt the team understood our vision immediately and we’re looking forward to working in partnership with them.”

Anvith Varanasi commented: “At Compawnion, we’re making dog training simpler, smarter, and stress-free so every pet parent can feel confident. With Leopard Co’s deep understanding of the pet care space, we’re bringing this vision to more homes worldwide.”

The contract win follows a series of successful pet brand communications campaigns that the Leopard Co team has delivered recently including for Ruffingtons, Boost, Earth Animal and UK Pet Food.
