Police say blaze behind Pets at Home store may have been suspicious
Police believe that a fire behind a Pets at Home store in Dunfermline may have been started deliberately.
The blaze caused damage to the unit’s air conditioning system, which led to animals being evacuated.
When asked by the Dunfermline Press about the investigation, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At this time is is suspected that the fire may be willful."
CCTV images are understood to be under review.
The fire, which happened in a skip behind Halbeath Retail Park, caused damage to the air conditioning system, meaning all animals had to be evacuated from Pets at Home.
