Oh So Precious business adds to sales team

The Lovely Gift Group has expanded the sales team with the appointment of two industry specialists who will be working to develop sales for the firm’s two own label keepsake brands, ‘Oh So Precious’ and ‘Angel, Wings and Feathers’.

Both hailing from East Yorkshire within 15 minutes drive time of the company’s headquarters in Newport, Louise Bielby and Karli Petch have been appointed to bring their experience in the gift and garden centre markets, and the petcare industry, respectively.

Helen Davies, founder of The Lovely Gift Group, said: “For the continued growth of these brands, it was imperative we boosted the sales team with experts in our target markets.  To find such experience on our doorstep was an added bonus and I’m thrilled that both Louise and Karli have settled into their new roles and made an impact immediately.”

Louise Bielby, of Walkington, has extensive sales management experience having previously held roles in both the garden centre and gift industries. She was in regional sales for Forest Garden Group and Grange Fencing with previous roles at Boxer Gifts, Heineken and LEGO.

Karli Petch, of Market Weighton, joins the team whilst continuing to run her successful petcare business DotDot, currently employing 28 walkers caring for 1000+ dogs as well as offering homeboarding, small animal care and the Central Bark dog field.  Karli has previously held positions at Walker Modular and Bankside Patterson.

Louise commented: “Working with these new brands, that are creating their own categories in target markets, is a wonderful new challenge but one that has already been extremely rewarding.  Having innovative product ranges, that buyers are readily viewing and trying, is a breath of fresh air and I’m looking forward to rolling out both brands and sales initiatives further next year.”

Karli said: “As a fellow pet lover and owner, I see the value in honouring our four legged children, as much as our two legged.  I also feel well placed to understand the joy and challenges of running a pet care business, so I’m confident when introducing this new pet keepsake range, that it will enhance our customers’ offer, whether they are a retailer or service provider.  Personally too, promoting the Oh So Precious affiliate scheme, allows me to continue my passion for working with and helping pet care charities and rescue centres.”

Helen continued: “It is a business milestone for me to be in a position to appoint sales managers to really drives these two brands forwards.  Already they are visible at Central England Co-operative, B&Q, Pets at Home, The Range, Klondyke Strikes and Blue Diamond Garden centres as well as number of other online retailers and independents. Both brands deserve the additional attention and we have much more coming in 2025.”
