DogFriendly Awards get set for biggest-ever year

The 12th Annual DogFriendly Awards will open for public voting on 1st August, which will also mark the 21st anniversary of the DogFriendly directory.

The DogFriendly Awards are an opportunity for dog friendly places and businesses to receive the recognition that they deserve from their customers.

DogFriendly founder Steve Bennett said: “We started the DogFriendly database and magazine after we struggled to find suitable accommodation and places to visit when on holiday with our dogs.

“We continue our aim to provide dog lovers with information and inspiration on exploring dog friendly places throughout the country. Our members have access to the most detailed information on dog friendly places available anywhere in the UK today.

“We have more than 40,000 businesses Registered on our databases including hotels, self catering cottages and properties, pubs, beaches and days-out, where you and your dogs will Be welcomed.”

Steve added that this year’s awards will be the biggest and best in their 12-year history.

“Whether your business is involved directly in producing or providing dog products or services, or if you welcome dogs and their owners into your place of business, the DogFriendly Awards will be of interest to you.”

The awards will be open for votes until mid-October and finalists (and their dogs) will be invited to the Kennel Club HQ in London for the presentation ceremony in November.
