Thousands turn out for opening of Fishkeeper Scotland store

Families, hobbyists and interested amateurs were amoung those queuing up to get a glimpse of the newest Fishkeeper Scotland store, at th official launch weekend. The new flagship Fishkeeper Scotland store is the second of the company's stores located in Edinburgh, this one at Dobbies Garden Centre, Melville Nursery.

The opening weekend ran on Saturday 4th September and Sunday 5th September with competitions, goody bags, special discounts and face painting, fun for all the family! We even had a DJ roadshow with Forth 1 down to join the party!

Fishkeeper Melville will offer the very best in aquatic products, advice and service to the fishkeeping community, with over 5,000 exotic invertebrates and tropical freshwater, marine and coldwater fish, suiting all types of aquariums. Also, the store features our first 6,500 litre koi pond, where visitors can feed the fish - A definite highlight for the kids!

"We are very proud to add another Dobbies aquatic store to our portfolio and look forward to welcoming new and seasoned hobbyists through our doors," said a spokesperson for Fishkeeper Scotland.

Fishkeeper Scotland is an independently operated arm of Maidenhead Aquatics.
