More stockists needed for growing homemade treats business
Homemade dog treat business Alfie & Molly's is looking to expand its network of stockists around the UK – currently at 16 – as the company continues to grow its range of products.
The family-run company, founded in 2013 in Bristol by Maria and Marika Szabo, was inspired by their two springer border collies twins Alfie and Molly.
"We bake all of our homemade dog treats with a simple thought in mind - if we don't eat it then we don't feed it to our dogs," said Maria. "That is why we don't use anything unnatural in our treats so they have no additives or preservatives in them, just all natural ingredients, baked to our own special recipes.
"At Alfie & Molly's we bake a range of natural homemade dog treats made to order, using a 100% human grade ingredients that have no added preservatives, sugar or salt and organic as far as possible and you will not need a degree to understand our labelling as it is simple to understand.
"We use all natural ingredients that have real health benefits to our dogs.
"We are regulated by DEFRA and are required to submit our products for regular testing to an independent laboratory in order to ensure they are safe for dogs to enjoy all our meat products.
"We are also registered with our local trading standards, have our CIEH Food Hygiene Safety Certification and are also fully insured."
All Alfie & Molly's treats are wheat and gluten free and there is a grain free range:
