The Animology brand of pet care products has grown at a remarkable rate over the past few years and is fast becoming a leading international product range.
Speaking during this week's busy PATS Sandown show, Group55's Stephen Turner said it had been a remarkable period for the company's Animolgy brand and a few lessons had been learned along the way.
"It has been a big learning curve for us," said Stephen. "We've always believed that the product had huge potential but it has been quite surprising to see how rapid the growth has been.
"We've exhibited at home and abroad and the response from the pet and grooming trade both here and overseas has been fantastic. But that in itself can bring its own problems because as a company you need to increase production, choose the best distributors especially overseas and keep thinking up new ideas to keep the product fresh and vibrant."
With the help of PetQuip, Stephen took the Animology brand to Global Pet Expo earlier this year and is planning to go to Zoomark in May.
"I returned to our green and pleasant land with a smile on my face and a mountain of work thanks to the show in Florida," said Stephen.
