Ancol helps out cat rescue centre
Ancol has donated a range of products to a cat rescue centre in Stoke on Trent.
Iris’ Cats in Need was established 30 years ago by Iris Wright after she began looking after abandoned cats and kittens. Run from Iris’ home, the charity’s small team of volunteers work to care for over 1,000 stray or abandoned cats every year, with the aim of finding them loving, responsible homes. Ancol Sales Director Sarah Lane said: “After hearing about the good work that Iris’ Cats in Need do, we were delighted to help by donating a selection of our Acticat furniture, toys, beds, brushes and collars.” Volunteer Laura Hadley thanked the company for their generosity, adding: “We really appreciate them donating the various cat products – we know they will be loved by all the cats and kittens we look after.”
