37,000 visitors from over 120 countries attend Interzoo
More than 37,000 visitors from over 120 countries – 2% higher than two years ago – brought themselves up-to-date on everything the world has to offer in pet supplies at the international trade show in Nuremberg.
About 1,700 exhibitors (up 10%) showed their range of pet food, grooming supplies and accessories on over 110,000 square meters of exhibition space. This impressively strengthens Interzoo’s claim as the largest meeting place of the international pet industry.
This year exhibitors came from 63 countries to present their products for four-legged pets, birds, fish, horses and reptiles.
Hans-Jochen Büngener, Chairman of the Interzoo Exhibition Committee, said: “The proportion of exhibitors from abroad rose to 82%. Most exhibitors came from Germany, China, USA, Italy, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.”
But not only the exhibitors from abroad were attracted to Interzoo – 69% of the show’s visitors came from overseas.
