
Internet celebrity Grumpy Cat, whose first video has been viewed more than 12 million times on YouTube, has landed an endorsement deal with the Friskies cat food brand.
The feline, whose owner lives in Phoenix, Arizona, is now the official "spokescat" of the brand, Nestle Purina PetCare announced on Tuesday.
The US cat food maker is likely to want to capitalise on the social media success of Grumpy Cat, who currently has 111,000 Twitter followers and 1.2 million Facebook likes.
