A thief shell-shocked staff at Zoar's Ark Garden Centre in Neath when he entered the store, took a tortoise out of out of a glass tank, before hiding it under his jacket and walking off.

Police are now appealing for the public's help to identify a man in connection with the theft.

Zoar's owner Martin Jones said they were "shocked and horrified" by the theft.
