The Pet Industry Awards, now in their fifth year, have been incorporated into a two-day forum, which has been organised by the Pet Industry Federation on October 17-18.
The awards, which are undergoing a change in 2013 to broaden their appeal and attract more entries, exist to celebrate entrepreneurial success and commercial merit.
The forum, meanwhile, is targeted at retailers, manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers and other pet specialist businesses and will provide delegates with the opportunity to learn something new, as well as offering invaluable networking opportunities.
Deborah Meadon is already involved in the pet industry, having invested in the Billy+Margot business when owner Marie Sawle entered the Dragons' Den last year.
