Envirosmart Products, makers of the SmartBedz and Smartkitz ranges of environmentally friendly litter and pet toys, has appointed Tony Dutton as non-executive director to the business.

Tony has held country and regional CEO positions in veterinary pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare and medical nutrition businesses with his specific expertise in international brand marketing.

He has extensive experience of leading, mentoring and coaching teams of senior commercial and technical executives and regularly works with leading animal health companies on projects ranging from brand repositioning to key account management strategies.

 “We have been working with Tony for some time and have found his insight and extensive management expertise in many different markets invaluable during our early development phase” said Nigel Bateson co-founder and director of Envirosmart.

“it was an obvious extension of that working relationship to invite Tony to join our board and we are delighted that he has accepted. He will continue to be a highly valued member of the team and integral to our continued growth as we develop new products and markets.”

Meanwhile, Tony Scott (left) has joined Envirosmart Products to actively increase the distribution of SmartBedz and SmartKitz brands through the specialist pet channel. 

Tony has extensive experience working with retailers and wholesalers from his time at Mr Johnsons. 

His role is to promote the consumer and retailer benefits of SmartBedz litter and SmartKitz accessories and increase their availability to pet owners.
