
Police are investigating a burglary at an Exeter pet shop.
Officers attended a burglary at Exeter Pet and Garden shop in Sidwell Street, following an overnight break-in.
The shop was broken into to via the flat roof above where there are raised areas with boarding or windows above the shops. These are protected with metal bars but these were forced apart and the boarding kicked in.
A police spokesman said: “The tills float was stolen along with keys to the till and some of the animals cages. Exit would have been via the roof and a lot of stock was knocked off the shelves.”
“We would appeal for anyone with information to contact us.”
