Billy+Margot seals deal to distribute its Iced Treats through Ocado

Billy+Margot, maker of a range of nutritious pet products, has announced that its award-winning Iced Treat For Dogs is now available to purchase online from Ocado...

Since its launch and success in securing £60k investment from Deborah Meaden on ‘Dragons’ Den’ in 2012, the company has successfully built a nationwide wholesale business with pet shops, garden centres, independent retailers and other outlets selling its range of nutritious treats for dogs, but until now has been unable to sell its iced-treats direct to the consumer via its website, due to the frozen nature of the product.

Marie Sawle, the founder of Billy + Margot, said: “This is a significant milestone for the Billy+Margot brand. The deal with Ocado means people can have our frozen products delivered directly into their home for the first time, as well as enjoying our other products and iced treats when they visit our high street stockists. Direct delivery into the home will help increase the brand’s visibility amongst the consumer market and drive the company’s continued growth and product development.”

The company has diversified its product range to include an appetising selection of Venison Treats, a unique treat/supplement, Popcorn for Dogs, a range of healthy training biscuits, luxury hamper and especially for the festive season, giant Christmas Crackers for dogs. A number of new treats and Billy+Margot’s first complete dog food are also in development.
