Cancer Research UK to hold second Best Paw Forward walk in Highgate Wood

Dog owners have been invited to take their pets on a sponsored walk in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Best Paw Forward in Highgate Wood last year raised more than £10,000 for the charity, and organisers hope this year’s event will do even better.

The walk will take place on Sunday June 8, and covers two laps of the ancient woodland. Walkers will set out in small groups, starting from the playing fields in front of the cafe.

There will be prizes for best fundraisers and best dressed dogs. Owners and pets from Dima’s Good Boy Dog School will also give a demonstration.

Registration costs £8 per dog. For information call 07940 592755 or email nlondonfundraisers@gmail.com
